The GCA Experience

By ALEXANDER REI AMOR C. LEDESMA
GCA (ACE) GRADUATE (2008-2009)
March 18, 2009 - Graduation Day. Confused with what I'm feeling during that moment. I don't know if I should feel sad or ecstatic. Sad because I'm leaving high school and I wouldn't be able to see my friends again. Happy because I graduated as a valedictorian and my dreams will be fulfilled because I'll be able to pursue what I wanted to become when I step in college - a student nurse.

My first impression about GCA was like, "Cool! (because I love the color green that's why.) But kidding aside, I frankly find GCA not cool but rather 'AMAZING'! Why? Because all of the people there, namely the school's CEO, Rev. Jose Z. Gutierrez and also the vice CEO, Andrea Gutierrez, the whole school staff and especially the students, are very affable, humble, trustworthy and wonderful people. Let's just count this as an acknowledgement.
My Mom didn't enroll me in the conventional program but rather in the ACE program. ACE stands for 'Accelerated Christian Education', which means, they provide students the most innovative education the school has to offer. So for me it's like, 'Less Effort. Double the Reward.' "Why don't we give it a try?", I told my Mom. "Anyway, all I have to do is sit back and relax in my own personal cubicle and finish the so-called modules 'PACE' after which if I finish everything in a given period. I'll be accelerated, in the next level. How fascinating!" which I did, LITERALLY.
Besides all of that, I really had an awesome and unforgettable experience at GCA. Because I met new people who became a part of my life and also because of the memorable times I spent together with my teachers, classmates and also some of my friends in the conventional program.
Without further ado, thank you GCA for providing me the best education and for keeping my future bright and also for sharing to me the love for the Lord, our God.
And finally, I want to thank the newly fresh graduates of Great Christian Academy 2013. Kudos!
