GREAT CHRISTIAN ACADEMY
SINCE 1996

WELCOME

Rev. Jose Gutierrez (CEO) with Mrs. Andrea Gutierrez (Asst. CEO)
Intelligent people are often driven to learn, study, and expand their knowledge base in their fields of interest. While the acquisition of knowledge through study is admirable and important, could there be qualities of even greater importance? We often hear parents or grandparents brag about how smart their child and grandchild are. The truth is we rarely hear wisdom mentioned. Wouldn't it be amazing if our culture matured to the point where wisdom and common sense were valued or ranked higher than intelligence on a scale of personal qualities?
At Great Christian Academy, we believe the most important reference for knowledge is inward, that is, values (spiritual and moral) and self-discipline . Each of us must acquire the capacity to seek answers to deeply personal questions or our knowledge will be at best unsatisfying. Honest examination of ourselves, and how we see ourselves before the Lord is most likely to give us the humility, sympathy, and restraint needed to keep us from using our wisdom in ways that hurt rather than help and advance the central cause of our school.
Whether GCA students are to gain knowledge of the world around us or to create new knowledge; whether their search is to acquire the technique and discipline necessary to earn as students; whether they are a part of a community or organization, we always hope that our students' continuing education will add value to their lives.
Great Christian Academy belongs to all those who are a part of it. GCA administrators, staff and teachers who contribute their time and immense experience to guide our students; the faculty, principal and their academic leadership who shape our curriculum and have the most direct experience with our students; our administration who handle so many of the behind the scenes operations without which we couldn't even open the doors in the morning; and the students who come here to learn with the hope and expectation that we will do all we can to make them glad they chose to come to this school.
Welcome to Great Christian Academy, I hope you will join us, speak up in a fruitful way so your ideas can be heard and considered. For faculty members, I ask the same, continue to be involved with your peers, and allow your thoughts, your wisdom, and your contributions to be collected in an effort to continue to make our school a unique and amazing place to teach and learn.
God bless!
